It is theory that decides what can be observed. - Albert Einstein

We all know that our eyes have muscles. These muscles are what helps you to focus on objects in front of you and far away.  The muscles also help align are eyes to the correct shapes.  When a persons vision goes fuzzy, their eye's are becoming unaligned and loses the ability to focus properly. Well, the theory is, the muscles in our eyes are like any other muscle in our body.  Here's an analogy; bad vision is like if we had weak muscles in our neck so we couldn't support it, so it got all lazy (like lazy eye), it would sag and become unaligned. :) therefore, what I must do to fix my vision is exercise my eye muscles.

Here are my eye exercises I will do for the next month of testing (starting tomorrow):

The Outside Exercise: Once everyday and night (My mom got this one from an unknown online source)
For this exercise you focus on something close up, like at reading distance, for 3 minutes. then immediately you focus on something really far away, like 500 ft of distance, for another 3 minutes.

Relaxation Exercise: Everyday at lunch time (I found this one on a YouTube video. I'm not sure where now)
This one you just cover your eyes with the palm of your hands. you want to sort of cup your palms so you can look around at your palms. then you just relax your eyes and blink a lot to rejuvenate your eyes.

The Thumb Exercise: Everyday at breakfast and supper (I got this one from that same YouTube video ^^)
This one you stretch out your arm as far as possible, pull out your thumb and focus on you thumb for 30 seconds then focus through your thumb on what's behind it for another 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times.

Rejuvenation Exercise: All time everyday especially on the computer
Blink, blink and blink. When people get on the computer they stop blinking as much. It's bad.

I'm not going to be using my glasses for the whole month (I actually haven't been wearing them for past 2 weeks or so). I will also be eating a carrot every other day, because it's good for your eyes (the carrots do not improve vision).

To learn more about the causes of eye problems, and what I'm talking about above, ^^ here's a website all about it: http://www.visiontherapy.net/articles/myopia.html
